It's here!!! Yay!!
I went ahead and have 2 ranches devoted to appies, one for crosses and one for pures. Got some decent foundation stock, even got a blanket hip colt. I'm looking forward to seeing what spoils everyone got.
Let's get this board rolling, folks! Yee-haw!

None of my Appaloosas were properly patterned, but I did get a solid Buckskin. And once again I will be going for proper patterns and Bay and Buckskin colors. And stats of course. I still don't really care about purebred or not so I'll probably be crossbreeding with properly patterned TBs and Arabians if I see some nice ones.

I didn't do too badly I expect. I got more grey than I would want, but I can work around that given enough time! This is a run down of what I got:
Arizona Ice Lady - 54% Bay Pintaloosa filly - Clear Walk the Line - 53% Grey stallion - Clear Montana Max - 57% Grey colt - Clear - Cow Sense Rose Red - 50% Red Bay filly - Clear Go Gunner - 60% Grey Frame Overo colt - Clear
i don't know if Gunn will have a trait yet, he's too young to tell, but once he's over his illness he will hopefully make a nice show horse with some training!
I managed to get 3 greys out of the 5 horses imported on each of my six ranches, and on one of them I even ended up with four! I'll have a lot ahead of me to get it out of my herds, or at least cut back. I might go and buy a 7th ranch in the new year to raise outcrossed Appys, but I haven't decided yet. Knowing me, I won't be able to resist! I've decided, this time around, I'm going to keep smaller active herds. My foundation horses will always be with my ranches, I hope, but after them it will be the truly exceptional (to me, anyway!) who get to stay and live it up in the pasture after they retire ^_^ I've got big plans for these little virtual horses of mine!
